ABOUT ME
Ukrainian violist Anastasiia Gerasina was born in Kyiv and obtained her bachelor’s degree with Prof. Christian Euler at the University of the Arts Graz, Austria. Currently she is studying master degree in Specialized Performance, Orchester at the Zurich University of the Arts with Lawrence Power and perform with Opernhaus Zürich, as part of her study program.
Anastasiia Gerasina is intern in Viola section in:
Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich in the season 2023/2024
Musikkollegium Winterthur in the season 2022/2023
Gstaad Festival Orchestra in summer of 2022 & 2023
She has participated in numerous youth orchestras and summer academies, such as the Verbier Festival Orchestra, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival Orchestra, DAVOS FESTIVAL – young artists in concert and the Moritzburg Festival Academy.
She received important musical impulses from Hartmut Rohde, Nils Mönkemeyer, Micha Afkham and Yair Kless. And performed under the baton of conductors as Gábor Takács-Nagy, Zubin Mehta, Daniele Gatti, Lahav Shani, Christoph Eschenbach, Jaap van Zweden, Johannes Schlaefli, Holly Choe, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Michael Sanderling, Ton Koopman, Kirill Karabits and Christoph Altstaedt.
